Piano

Beginner piano lessons are available for children & adults 5+ years old.

Students will explore the structure of the piano and keyboard, gaining familiarity with note names and their locations on the instrument. They’ll develop foundational skills in music theory, note reading, and proper playing techniques. Younger students will also build early musical awareness by recognizing patterns, learning to count rhythmically, and responding to teacher guidance.

As they progress, students will learn essential techniques, including scales, chords, and triads, along with how to read chord charts and improvise music. Through this well-rounded approach, students will strengthen memory, enhance reading ability, improve coordination, and develop patience and self-esteem. The program also fosters rhythm, creativity, and confident self-expression through music.

Binder Fee: $10 binder fee for new students. Replacement binders are $10.

Needed: Instruction book(s) will be determined after the first lesson. The student must have access to a piano or keyboard.
