Dance Abilities is available for children 6-12 years old.  

Dance Abilities is a great way for children with special needs to get involved in an extracurricular activity while improving motor skills, confidence, and socialization. Dance can also be a unique and effective way to reach children with special needs because it is nonverbal. Through simple patterns, sequencing, and repetition, students will learn the basics of movement, rhythm, and dance. This class is equipped to teach children with Down Syndrome, Autism/ASD, non-verbal, sensory sensitivity, Tourette’s syndrome, or any other learning and developmental disabilities.

This class meets for 45 minutes.

Lesson Times:

*Mondays 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM

*Homeschool class.

We understand students have sensory issues and may not want to wear leotards and tights. Please try to be in comfy clothes and hair out of face.
